Dino’s & Donuts, MI + Norton Children’s
Dino’s and Donuts, Benefiting Norton Children’s Hospital, Presented by Mobile Initiative
Lauren here, I want to shout across the roof tops a huge THANK YOU to all of our event attendees and vendors, this event could not have happened without you! “Dino’s and Donuts” was designed with toddlers and young children in mind, the team at Mobile Initiative wanted to create an event that could raise money and awareness for Norton Children’s Hospital, while appealing to the local little ones. What better combo than dinosaurs and donuts?
The event took place at historic venue, The Nunnlea House. I loved the historic grand details, bright white walls, and open airy windows, paired with the playful elements our event brought to the table. Scroll through to see some of our event photos + a complete list of all vendors.
Proceeds of the event went directly to Norton Children’s Hospital, on site they were showcasing their Splash-N-Dash event, which raises even more funding for their large goals. You may register for Splash-n-Dash Here. We had Premier Face Painting on site painting dinosaur variations on little ones faces, the ladies at premier are such a breath of fresh air – creative and interactive. Our music room was a hit! Bailey Carter and team from University of Louisville Music Therapy Clinic were dancing and grooving with all the little ones, lots of instrument play and microphone fun had by all. Kids and adults enjoyed donuts, provided by Heitzmans Bakery and Deli, and the children had a blast decorating them. I gotta say, the balloon art absolutely transformed this space! It was jaw dropping beautiful, shades of greens mingling against jungle leaves, I couldn’t get enough. Amanda Berrier of Goganberry Balloons & Events spent over 15 hours blowing up and installing the balloon art, and it was SO worth it to see the smiling faces of all our guests.
